Event Description: Come raft with Whitewater Challengers for the benefit of Susan G. Komen – Philadelphia Mention “Raft for the Cure” when you make your reservation by calling 800-443-8554 or book online using the button below and your group will receive a discounted package rate ($65/person) which includes: whitewater rafting on the Lehigh River (including river equipment and river shuttle to and from the river), river lunch and a special “Raft for the Cure” t-shirt. Together we can fight for a cure and enjoy a fun day on the river. Whitewater Rafting Trip Details: This rafting trip is a spectacular day out. Family-Style white water rafting in Pennsylvania doesn’t get better than this! The Lehigh offers exciting rapids and scenic views. Approximate duration is 3-4 hours on the river; 5-6 hours overall. Times and rapids can vary based on weather and water conditions. Whitewater Challengers Rafting Center 288 North Stagecoach Rd., Weatherly, PA 18255 From Hazleton: From Route 93 turn right onto Brenkman Drive (follow sign pointing toward “Weatherly”) and go 1.7 miles. Brenkman Drive becomes Hudsondale Street. Continue another 0.7 miles on Hudsondale Street. Turn right onto East Main Street, cross over a small bridge, and immediately turn right again onto Wilbur Street. Go 0.1 mile and Wilbur Street bears to the left and becomes First Street. Go another 0.2 mile on First Street and bear left on Fell Street. In about 50 yards, turn right onto East Main Street (follow sign pointing toward “White Haven.”). Go about 5 miles to intersection with Buck Mountain Road (on left). Turn left onto Buck Mountain Road. Go 1 mile. Turn right onto North Stagecoach Road. Go 300 yards to our entrance on your right.
